New 'Randoseru Sable' Sweets Developed by Former Pastry Chef Staff Now on Sale Exclusively at Ikedaya Stores

Ikedaya Co., Ltd. has started selling 'Randoseru Sable,' original baked sweets modeled after Ikedaya school bags, exclusively at its physical stores. The development was led by an Ikedaya staff member with a background as a pastry chef. There are five flavors: plain, cocoa, matcha, purple sweet potato, and raspberry, with no artificial colors or flavors used. Developed with the hope that customers can enjoy the memories of choosing a school bag at home, these sweets are popular as special souvenirs that spark family conversation. They are available at the Shinjuku, Yokohama Minatomirai, Shizuoka, Hamamatsu, Umeda, and Fukuoka Tenjin stores.
