Yama-kei Publishers, an Impress Group company specializing in mountaineering and nature media, has released 'Vegetable Quiche and Fruit Tart,' authored by Kaori Ishibashi.

This is a recipe book for homemade quiches and tarts to be enjoyed at home, packed with seasonal blessings. It includes recipes for crusts that can be made with oil instead of butter, allowing readers to enjoy both quiches and tarts with their preferred dough.

This collection of beautiful quiche and tart recipes comes from Shinshu, a region known for its fresh vegetables and fruits, including asparagus, tomatoes, zucchini, apricots, peaches, grapes, and apples.

Readers can create crusts using 18cm tart molds, smaller 12cm molds perfect for gifts, or 15cm deep round molds. By topping them with seasonal Shinshu ingredients and baking them, or enjoying them fresh, one can casually taste everyday French cuisine at home.

The book introduces 13 recipes each for quiches that draw out the umami of seasonal vegetables and tarts that capture the flavors of fruits available only during that time.
