Demolition Work on Nagayamon Gate Progresses

This is the current state of the Nagayamon gate after the walls were removed during demolition. Being inside, I can feel the history. These beams and pillars have kept this gate standing for about 200 years. I am deeply impressed that I could encounter such a wonderful building and own it. Some beams and pillars hidden inside the walls were more severely deteriorated than expected. I am truly glad I decided to start this project. I look forward to the future.
