A glamping village with a total of 6 rooms, located in the satoyama (woodlands) of Futtsu, Chiba.

A 200-year-old traditional folk house and 16 rescue cats. Please enjoy a healing time with nature and animals.

*How to spend your daytime*

Climbing slopes carrying a traditional woven basket on your back, or exploring the forest. You can enjoy an old-fashioned 'primal experience,' playing with your whole body.

*How to spend your nighttime*

Chatting leisurely while gazing at the flames of a bonfire. Before you know it, a cat is curled up and sleeping next to you. Such a day in the satoyama is a common sight at Washinmura.

*About the facilities*

Scattered across the grounds are an approximately 200-year-old traditional folk house, a nagayamon (longhouse gate), tents, and Snow Peak Jyubako (mobile houses). We live together with the following animals:

- 15 rescue cats + 1 cat (living in the dorm) - Goats - Dogs - Silkie chicken family

Under the guidance of a veterinarian, to manage the physical condition of our cats, we ask that you refrain from bringing in store-bought treats.

If you wish to give them treats, please purchase the ones sold at the Washinmura shop (carefully selected, additive-free, domestically sourced ingredients, etc.). *Sold in limited quantities.

- Cats live freely on the premises. Please be careful if you have allergies. - The animals are capricious, so we do not know which room they will visit. They are not guaranteed to come. - The cats and dogs at Washinmura have been spayed/neutered and given vaccines and tick prevention medication.
