Interfactory Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Noboru Kumagi; hereinafter 'Interfactory') announces that its product data integration platform 'EBISU PIM (Ebisu PIM)' has been adopted by Nakanishi Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuma Nakanishi; hereinafter 'Nakanishi Seisakusho'), a manufacturer and distributor of large-scale commercial kitchen equipment, as its core product information management platform.

This project aims to enhance product information management and improve operational efficiency, with smooth data migration and user adoption being promoted toward full-scale operations in September 2026.

Background and Objectives: Strengthening the Information Infrastructure for Future Growth

Nakanishi Seisakusho offers a rich product lineup of approximately 5,000 items, delivering value to a wide range of customers. To support further business expansion and respond swiftly to increasingly diverse customer needs, the company aimed to build a more accurate and efficient information dissemination system by centralizing and automating the management of product data, images, and category information previously scattered across internal systems.

In particular, to enable faster and more accurate information updates for catalog publishing operations and to prepare for future integration with external digital channels such as websites (multichannel expansion), the company selected the flexible and scalable 'EBISU PIM' platform.

Key Features and Expected Benefits of the Project

The adoption of 'EBISU PIM' will establish a highly optimized platform for Nakanishi Seisakusho, streamlining product data registration, retrieval, and operations.

Centralized Management and Optimization of Catalog Product Information

In addition to approximately 5,000 product data entries, the platform enables centralized management of catalog-specific item configurations and catalog layout information through grouping. It also provides an intuitive user interface (UI) that allows on-site staff to easily register and access data.

Operational Efficiency through Customized Automatic Code Assignment

The product code and catalog-specific code assignment processes have been customized and automated to align with Nakanishi Seisakusho's operational workflows. This eliminates code duplication, significantly improving data reliability and operational efficiency.

Future Steps: Digitization and Automation of Layout Operations and Multichannel Integration

With this foundation in place, the company plans to explore digitizing and automating catalog layout creation in the future. Furthermore, by seamlessly integrating with external channels such as websites, the company aims to evolve into a 'next-generation marketing platform' that delivers up-to-date and accurate product information in real time across all customer touchpoints.

Comment from Nakanishi Seisakusho

— Ease of Use and Efficiency Gains from Automatic Numbering Were Decisive

After evaluating multiple vendors, we selected 'EBISU PIM' based on its overall usability and refined user interface. In our previous catalog production process, there was no master product data, and layouts were created by referencing past catalogs, leading to significant knowledge silos. Additionally, starting this year, we began assigning new 'catalog codes' to identify products, making the manual code generation and assignment process extremely time-consuming and prone to human error.

Therefore, we requested the development of an automatic catalog code assignment feature during implementation. This has resolved various issues in code generation and appears to achieve operational efficiency and standardization.

Additionally, weekly regular meetings allow us to clarify any uncertainties immediately, enabling us to proceed with the implementation confidently.

Future Outlook

Nakanishi Seisakusho and Interfactory are advancing data migration and on-site operational stabilization under a strong partnership, aiming for a smooth launch in September 2026.

Moving forward, we will continue to contribute to Nakanishi Seisakusho's sustainable business growth and digital transformation through ongoing feature enhancements and hands-on support for 'EBISU PIM'.
