Peopledot, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Information Strategy Technology, has officially launched the Data Science and AI Aptitude Test (DSAT) in Thailand. This is the English version of Peopledot's Practical Data Analysis Skill Test (CBAS). The launch follows a successful two-year academic validation by a research team at Chulalongkorn University Business School (CBS) led by Professor Seksan Kiatsupaibul. The study proved CBAS is a highly reliable evaluation tool for local professionals and students. Peopledot has offered its basic data science courses at CBS since 2020, using CBAS to measure course outcomes. CBS will continue offering these courses and the DSAT exam in fiscal 2026. Information Strategy Technology, which acquired Peopledot via M&A, aims to strengthen its group-wide AI and data science capabilities. Through this Thai expansion, Peopledot intends to foster knowledge exchange between Japanese and Thai data science experts and build a cross-border co-creation ecosystem with CBS.
