ISF Net Joy Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yukiyoshi Watanabe; hereinafter 'ISF Net Joy') announces that through its 'Reemployment Program'—offered as part of employment transition support under the Comprehensive Support Law for Persons with Disabilities at its Numazu Office (Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture)—it has successfully supported an individual who had been on leave due to higher brain dysfunction caused by an accident to return to work at a general company, with formal reemployment scheduled to begin in June 2026.
In the eastern region of Shizuoka Prefecture, there are limited facilities capable of providing reemployment support for people with disabilities. Therefore, this successful case of supporting reemployment at a general company marks a significant achievement for ISF Net Joy's Numazu Office.
◆ Details of the Successful Reemployment Support Case at a General Company
The 'Reemployment Program,' which officially launched last year at the Numazu Office, has now yielded tangible results with this successful return to general employment. The success was made possible by the following meticulous support system:
Implementation of Detailed Training and 'Pre-Commute' Since Last Autumn
The participant began training at the facility last autumn. Professional staff closely monitored their health and work capacity recovery, progressing step by step. In May of this year, a 'pre-commute' phase was implemented, preparing the participant for full reemployment. This planned and phased support created a secure environment for a smooth transition back to work.
'Accompanying Support' Connecting the Participant and the Employer
As this case involved reemployment at a company outside our own group, in addition to skill development and mental health support for the participant, coordination with the receiving company was a crucial part of the support. ISF Net Joy staff acted as intermediaries, carefully discussing the company's readiness and necessary accommodations. As a result, the reemployment was achieved in a way that ensured peace of mind for both the participant and the employer.
Significance as a Reemployment Support Case in Eastern Shizuoka
In regional areas, institutions with established reemployment support systems are fewer compared to major urban centers. In eastern Shizuoka, the number of welfare facilities capable of such support is also limited. Achieving reemployment support involving collaboration with external companies in this context is considered a new model case for supporting employment and job stability for people with disabilities in the region.
◆ About the 'Reemployment Program' at the Numazu Office
ISF Net Joy has previously provided reemployment support at its Yoyogi Office, with all five individuals supported successfully returning to work. At the Numazu Office, the company has built a system capable of delivering high-quality support independently, leveraging accumulated expertise without relying on external agencies. Certified social workers use assessment tools to develop individual support plans and provide a six-month follow-up period after reemployment to support job stability for both the individual and the employer.

Building on the coordination and support expertise gained from this successful reemployment case at a general company, ISF Net Joy will continue to diversify and enhance its practical support services. The Numazu Office aims to serve as a regional model, contributing to solving corporate challenges related to hiring, retaining, and supporting the return of employees with disabilities, ultimately working toward sustainable employment.
