Next-Generation IT School ITeens Lab to Launch 'Roblox Class' in August 2026: A New Specialized Program Teaching Programming Through Game Creation, Empowering Students to Become Creators

ITeens Lab (iTeens Lab), an online IT school for elementary, middle, and high school students, will launch a new 'Roblox Class' in August 2026.

Until now, ITeens Lab has incorporated Roblox-based game development into its programming fundamentals and project-based learning (PBL) curricula. Creating personalized worlds using Roblox Studio and learning the basics of 3D spatial thinking, game design, and programming through projects like obstacle course games have proven highly engaging for students.

The newly launched 'Roblox Class' will serve as a specialized course where students who have already learned the basics of Roblox Studio in foundational programming classes can progressively deepen their skills in advanced world creation, object placement, stage design, game rule development, and text-based programming—ultimately cultivating the ability to bring their own ideas to life.

What is Roblox Studio?

Roblox is a platform where users worldwide can not only play games created by others but also use 'Roblox Studio' to create and publish their own 3D games and virtual worlds. For children already familiar with Roblox, the ability to use their favorite games as an entry point to naturally expand their interest into programming, 3D spatial understanding, and game design is a major appeal.

ITeens Lab's Roblox Initiatives

Starting in January 2026, ITeens Lab began offering free Roblox game creation experiences and open educational materials. In March, it hosted an external online event titled 'Create a Game in 60 Minutes! First-Time Roblox Game Development,' which attracted significant interest, with the 10-person capacity fully booked. The event guided beginners through creating an obstacle course game using Roblox Studio's basic functions.

The school has also hosted Roblox experience events for parents and regularly uses Roblox for recreational communication with students.

Additionally, student-created Roblox projects are being compiled on ITeens Lab's Roblox Portal, and Roblox-related activities are rapidly expanding.
