Iwaki FC is pleased to announce the results of an analysis of home game attendance data (J.League Marketing Database) from the 2025 season and an interview survey of spectators. This research was conducted with the aim of understanding the current fan base and considering effective future marketing strategies.

Last year, Iwaki FC celebrated its 10th anniversary, a significant milestone. We aim to be loved more by the community, increase the number of supporters, and strive for a future where the stadium is filled with enthusiastic crowds for every match.

◼︎ Prerequisites

For this analysis, data such as "attendance records," "remote check-in history," and "member data" from the 2024 and 2025 seasons were aggregated and processed from the J.League Marketing Database to understand fan characteristics based on the number of home game attendances. The results of this survey revealed a critical turning point that influences the "fan engagement and loyalty" of first-time stadium visitors. These findings will be utilized in designing strategies and measures to achieve Iwaki FC's future goal of "filling every stadium for every match."

◼︎ Attendance Status Revealed by Data Analysis (2025 Season)

・Attendance Frequency and Attributes The higher the attendance frequency, the higher the proportion of residents from Fukushima Prefecture, with 95% of F5 (16 or more visits) being residents within the prefecture.

A contrasting structure is observed where approximately 70% of the F5 group are season ticket holders, while about 90% of the F1 group are non-members.

・Polarization of Attendance Frequency Furthermore, a distinctive structure regarding attendance frequency in the 2025 season has been revealed.

Looking at home game spectators in the 2025 season by attendance frequency, those who attended only once were the most numerous at 2,396 people, followed by enthusiastic supporters who attended all 19 matches (854 people).

Furthermore, when viewed by groups based on attendance frequency, the group who attended only once (F1) is the largest with 2,396 people, followed by the group who attended 16 or more times (F5) with 1,680 people, representing a significant volume.
