'Chi.' Author Uoto Discusses Creative Origins and 'Leaving Words for the Future' with Riho Yoshioka on J-WAVE's 'UR LIFESTYLE COLLEGE' (June 7)

On the June 7 (Sun) broadcast, manga artist Uoto, author of the philosophical and epic manga 'Chi.: On the Movements of the Earth,' will appear as a guest. Born in 1997 in Tokyo, Uoto began submitting manga at age 13 and debuted with 'Hyakum.' in 2018. 'Chi.' has won numerous awards and has been adapted into an anime and stage play. In the program, they will delve into the themes and creative background of the work. Uoto explains that he wanted to depict the 'conflict between intellect and violence,' revealing why he arrived at the heliocentric theory and his meticulous thinking process in constructing the story.
