UTA from Netflix's 'Gas Human' and Social Entrepreneur Ibun Hirahara to Co-Host J-WAVE's 'TOKYO MORNING RADIO' as Guest Navigators, July 13–16

J-WAVE (81.3FM) broadcasts the weekday morning information program 'J-WAVE TOKYO MORNING RADIO' every Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 AM. The regular navigator is actor Tetsuya Bessho. Using the hashtag #ohayomorning ('Good Morning'), the show delivers the latest news and lifestyle information to professionals in central Tokyo.

From July 13 (Mon) to 16 (Thu), model-actor UTA (Uta) and social entrepreneur Ibun Hirahara (Hirahara Ibun) will co-host the 3-hour live broadcast as substitute navigators for Tetsuya Bessho.

UTA has drawn significant attention for his intense performance as the mysterious 'Gas Human' in the Netflix original series 'Gas Human,' released on July 2. Having spent his student years overseas, UTA is expected to continue diverse activities. This marks his first live radio hosting debut as a J-WAVE navigator, where he will bring a unique perspective to Tokyo's morning.

Ibun Hirahara, who studied abroad alone in China, Canada, Mexico, and Spain from elementary school, is an active social entrepreneur working to 'dissolve boundaries around the world' through SDGs and education. Alongside UTA as a twin navigator, she will bring global insights to Tokyo's morning.

The program will feature conversations on the two guests' work philosophies, private lives, and discussions on the latest news and lifestyle topics, all while embracing new challenges.
