Hakkodate Maru Port Festa 2026

The "Hakkodate Maru Port Festa" will be held at the Seikan Ferry Memorial Ship "Hakkodate Maru" for two days, from Saturday, July 11 to Sunday, July 12. During the event, various attractions will be available, including food trucks, experience cruises within Aomori Port, and opportunities to interact with Akita dogs. JAF Aomori Branch will display road service vehicles that are active in actual rescue situations, and will also offer free issuance of "Children's Safety Licenses," traffic safety awareness tools designed like driver's licenses.

JAF utilizes various types of vehicles daily, such as tow trucks, car carriers, and four-wheel-drive vehicles, depending on the situation and tasks at rescue sites. On the day of the event, we will display road service vehicles used in actual rescue operations. Please take this opportunity to see these road service vehicles up close, which are rarely seen up close in daily life. (Which vehicles will be displayed is a surprise for the day.)

Children's Safety License

The Children's Safety License is a traffic safety awareness tool designed like a driver's license. By taking a traffic safety quiz, participants can receive a card with their photo taken on the spot.
