June 15, 2026
JAL has revised its international freighter (freighter aircraft) route schedule for the first half of fiscal 2026, effective from June 15, due to the need for fleet adjustments associated with scheduled aircraft maintenance.
For the Narita-Hong Kong route, where JAL’s own Boeing 767 freighter will be temporarily suspended, cargo capacity will be maintained through a codeshare operation with Kalitta Airlines. By combining Kalitta’s operation on the Narita-Hong Kong route with JAL’s Narita-Chicago route (*1), JAL will continue to meet strong demand between Asia and North America. Updates regarding services from September 16 (Wednesday) onward, as well as routes and periods currently under review, will be announced as soon as decisions are finalized.
JAL remains committed to maintaining stable and flexible air transport capabilities, aiming to enhance customer convenience while contributing to solving societal challenges and achieving sustainable growth in logistics infrastructure.
