JALUX, a trading company within the JAL Group, and RePlayce, an education startup specializing in inquiry-based learning, have begun recruiting schools for a Proof of Concept (PoC) for their new 'JAL Regional Future Inquiry Program.' The initiative encourages high school students to address regional issues and propose policy recommendations to local governments, aiming to cultivate future regional contributors and foster 'relationship populations.' This program addresses the challenges faced by educators since the 2022 mandatory implementation of 'Integrated Inquiry Time,' specifically the burden of lesson planning and external coordination. By combining RePlayce’s educational expertise with JALUX’s extensive network of local governments, the program provides a 10-session online curriculum package. Students will engage in activities such as online interviews with local officials and presentation contests to develop problem-solving skills. Applications are open from June 1 to June 30, 2026, with five schools expected to be selected nationwide.
