Japan Entertainment, operating JUNGLIA OKINAWA in northern Okinawa's Yanbaru, will mark its first anniversary on July 25, 2026. The park aims to strengthen regional co-creation and showcase Okinawa's appeal with local enterprises, artists, municipalities, and residents. As the first part of the anniversary program, Okinawa-born comedian Gori from Garage Sale will serve as the Gori Support Leader. Gori, who has voiced the character Shisi in the park's Yanbaru Friends theater attraction, will provide frank, uncompromised feedback on visitor experience, child-friendliness, heat countermeasures, and authenticity. Future programs will include collaborations with local artists, regional co-creation activities, and new ticket details scheduled for release on June 10, 2026. Additionally, the park has been running outreach tours since winter 2025, including events at Aeon Mall Okinawa Rycom and Palette Kumoji Roof Plaza UFURUFU, gathering about 3,000 feedback sheets. Gori expressed strong support for the park's vision of boosting Yanbaru's economy and Japanese tourism.
