JSPO Releases Results of 'NO! Sport Harassment' Awareness Survey

The Japan Sport Association (JSPO) has published its 2026 survey results on 'NO! Sport Harassment' awareness. The report highlights a significant awareness gap regarding the JSPO Consultation Desk, with 77.7% of certified instructors aware of the service compared to only 7.8% of the general public. Furthermore, 18.2% of instructors and 9.4% of the public reported experiencing harassment, primarily verbal abuse, in the past five years. JSPO aims to raise awareness to 85% by 2027 to eliminate inappropriate behavior in sports.
