The "Summer Conference" is an event held annually by Japan JC as part of the "Summer Conference" for children and parents to learn. This year, in conjunction with the "Summer Conference 2026" to be held at Pacifico Yokohama on July 18 (Sat) and 19 (Sun), it will be held on July 18 (Sat) from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM at Pacifico Yokohama Minato Mirai Park.
This year's "Summer Conference" will focus on the theme of "Carbon Neutral," offering various learning experiences that will allow visitors to feel familiar with carbon neutrality and decarbonization actions, leading to behavioral changes in their daily lives. While creating their own "Participatory Free Study Notebook" distributed at the reception upon entry (for the first 6,000 visitors), participants can enjoy learning about disaster prevention, agriculture, CO2 reduction, and more at the "Participatory Experience Booths" within the venue. The completed notebooks can also be used for school free studies.
In addition to 10 stage events held in a timetable format, official ambassador Abareru-kun and popular characters are scheduled to appear. Food trucks, large rest tents, and childcare spaces are also available, creating an environment where parents and children can enjoy the entire day with peace of mind. We encourage families to participate in this learning opportunity for the next generation to think about their future selves and the environment.
