About the JC Cup

The JC Cup is a soccer tournament co-hosted by Japan JC and Meishukai. Its purpose is to nurture the "Good Loser Spirit" (the strong, positive mindset to praise one's opponent even in defeat) in the next generation of youth through soccer—the world's most popular sport—and to support children's growth. With special sponsorship from Miroku Information Service Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Naoki Koreeda, Head Office: 4-29-1 Yotsuya, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), the first tournament was held in 2015, and this year marks its 12th edition.

Starting with the 9th tournament in 2023, the "JC Cup Asia Pacific Tournament" was launched, and from the 11th tournament in 2025, international teams have been invited under the name "JC Cup International Tournament" (in 2025, eight teams from eight countries including Paris Saint-Germain of France and Rayo Vallecano of Spain were invited). This initiative promotes the "Good Loser Spirit" across borders and provides opportunities for international exchange among children.

For the 12th edition in 2026, Tanaka Paulo Junichi (player for Tochigi City FC) has been appointed as the tournament ambassador to help spread the Good Loser Spirit to even more children.
