Three-time Olympian Yoshitaku Nagasako Visits Hometown Elementary School!

~ A lecture for 38 sixth-graders at the local Oshima Elementary School, conveying the wonder of having dreams and the importance of effort ~

The Japan BMX Federation (JBMXF) is promoting the new project "JBMX Mirai Project," aiming to popularize BMX racing and nurture children who will lead the future, with the support of its official partner, Daito Trust Construction Co., Ltd.

As part of the "Awareness (School Visits/Outreach Lessons)" initiative, a cornerstone of this project, Yoshitaku Nagasako, an official ambassador for the federation and a three-time Olympian, visited "Kasaoka City Oshima Elementary School" in his hometown of Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture, to conduct an outreach lesson.

In the lesson, based on his experiences as a top athlete, Mr. Nagasako spoke passionately and directly to the local elementary school students about growth through sports, the wonder of having dreams, and the importance of continuing to strive towards goals.

Yoshitaku Nagasako

Born in Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture. Active on the world stage as a top rider in BMX racing and track cycling. He has participated in the Olympics three times. Currently, as an official ambassador for the Japan BMX Federation (JBMXF), he is dedicated to activities that convey the appeal of BMX, nurture the next generation, and promote the "JBMXF Mirai Project" which supports the future of children.
