<Japan Cancer Society> Call for Applications for Cancer Screening Research Grants! Deadline is end of August

The Japan Cancer Society has officially opened the call for applications for the 2026 Cancer Screening Research Grant program. The application period ends on August 31. As cancer is the leading cause of death in Japan, screening is a critical countermeasure. Since 2023, the society has been providing grants for a wide range of fields, including basic and clinical research for new screening technologies, development of awareness-raising methods, and social surveys. Eligible applicants include researchers and medical professionals affiliated with domestic universities, research institutions, and medical facilities.
