About the Flying Disc Sport 'Guts'

Two teams of five players each face each other on parallel lines spaced 14 meters apart (13 meters for women). One offensive player throws a disc toward the defensive team's scoring zone—a surface formed by the spread hands and extended reach of the five defenders lined up on the line. Points are scored based on whether the disc is caught successfully or not. The thrower must release the disc without touching the ground, from behind the foul line.
