On May 19, 2026 (Tuesday), the Japan Excellent Builder Promotion Association (JGBA; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ryo Tajima) hosted an online seminar titled 'Strategy for Popularizing High-Value-Added Housing: Overturning the Myth that High-Performance Spec Housing Isn't Profitable.' The event drew 21 participants.

In this seminar, Tatsuya Oikawa, Representative Director of Says Co., Ltd.—a firm boasting an overwhelming record of being number one in housing supply for 10 consecutive years within an association of approximately 500 builders—and other section leaders took the stage to share their specific management techniques.

In his closing remarks, Oikawa stated that the most important task for a manager is to 'envision the goal.' He revealed that in organizational operation, by introducing a self-evaluation system based on behavioral characteristics and values, rather than just quantitative results, employees grow proactively, forming the 'strongest team' that resonates with the corporate philosophy.

Participants provided feedback such as, 'It was a meaningful session, covering everything from practical content to how to instill management philosophy,' and 'It really hit home how the added value of high performance allows us to generate profits without getting caught in price wars.'
