Nippon Broadcasting Project Inc. (President and CEO: Daisuke Matsuura, Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has donated a portion of the sales from the 'Gunkanjima (Hashima Island) Pure Gold Card', which was released last year to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the registration of 'Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution' as a World Cultural Heritage site in 2015.
The donated funds will be utilized for various preservation projects aimed at passing down Hashima Island (Gunkanjima), registered as a World Heritage site as one of the component assets of 'Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution: Iron and Steel, Shipbuilding, and Coal Industry', to future generations.
