【About Brompton】
Brompton, a folding bicycle brand designed for urban environments, is sold in 47 countries worldwide, with over 70% of its production exported. Since its founder Andrew Ritchie built the first bike in 1975, over one million Bromptons have been ridden globally, and the company currently produces about 100,000 units annually. When folded, they reduce to about one-third of their size, achieving a lightweight of approximately 7.95kg for the T Line and around 11kg for standard models. They are utilized as urban mobility solutions, combinable with various modes of transport such as train commutes and car trunk storage. Brompton is a certified B Corp, part of an international community that evaluates corporate activities based on social and environmental considerations and transparency. The CO₂ emissions from manufacturing one Brompton are 6.2 tons less than a car, and 42 folded Bromptons can fit in the parking space of one car. Currently, Brompton has 15 flagship stores called "Brompton Junction" in major cities worldwide, including London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Milan, and Singapore, and is also sold through approximately 1,500 carefully selected independent bicycle dealers globally.
