"Brompton Experience Days" Opens: City Rides with London-Born Folding Bikes to Reach Various Parts of Japan

BROMPTON JAPAN Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo) will launch "Brompton Experience Days," a new event series starting in July 2026, to deliver the free and unique mobility experience that only the London-born folding bicycle brand Brompton can offer, to various regions across Japan in collaboration with Brompton authorized dealers nationwide.

As the first installment of "Brompton Experience Days," from July 18 (Sat) to July 20 (Mon, holiday), 2026, for three days, we will hold "Brompton Experience Days in Sendai" in cooperation with "Hayasaka Cycle Sendai Chuo Store," a Brompton authorized dealer in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, allowing participants to experience nature and history in the "City of Trees," Sendai.

This event marks the first ride event in the Tohoku region organized by BROMPTON JAPAN.

About "Brompton Experience Days"

"Brompton Experience Days" is an event series where Brompton authorized dealers nationwide and BROMPTON JAPAN team up to deliver a unique Brompton experience. By leveraging the maneuverability of folding bikes and combining them with public transportation, participants can freely explore the local area, enjoying the scenery, townscapes, and encounters with people. Brompton is not just a bicycle for getting from point A to point B; it allows you to combine multiple modes of transport—folding it compactly, taking it on a train or bus, and then riding again after disembarking—enabling new ways to encounter a place that cannot be experienced by walking or driving.

In addition to brand promotion centered at the flagship store "Brompton Tokyo," BROMPTON JAPAN will deepen its partnerships with Brompton authorized dealers across the country to expand the Brompton experience, achievable only in each region, to various parts of Japan.

About the First Installment: "Brompton Experience Days in Sendai"

The stage for the first installment is Sendai, known as the "City of Trees." With its rich greenery coloring the city, the Hirose River, and the open scenery leading to the coast, Sendai, where urban life and nature harmonize comfortably, is the perfect city to enjoy the free mobility experience that Brompton proposes.

The event will feature two programs: "Morning Ride Out" and "Brompton Try Out." The "Morning Ride Out" will be a group ride of approximately 10-18 km using Brompton bikes. Incorporating the element of "rinko" (folding the Brompton, taking it on a train, and riding from the destination), participants will tour unique Sendai scenery along rivers and the coast. You can experience the unique Brompton mobility experience that lightly connects the city and nature, and daily life and travel.

In the afternoon, "Brompton Try Out" will be held on the first floor of Hayasaka Cycle Sendai Chuo Store.

All lineups, including C Line, P Line, T Line, and G Line, will be available for test rides, allowing you to compare the riding feel and characteristics of each model. BROMPTON JAPAN staff will be on-site to provide personalized guidance on the features of each model, folding methods, tips for rinko, and unique ways to enjoy Brompton. Everyone, from current Brompton owners to those considering a purchase or new to Brompton, is welcome to join.
