CIC Catalyst APAC, the startup growth support organization of CIC Japan (Headquarters: Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Denise Medlenka), in partnership with the Global Connect Fukuoka Network, will operate the 'Fukuoka Startup Acceleration Program ISSIN 2026.'

The program aims to support startups based in Fukuoka Prefecture that possess excellent technologies, ideas, or products/services targeting overseas markets, with the goal of fostering startup growth through funding from VCs and other sources.

Applications are now open.

Program Overview: - Application Period: June 4, 2026 (Thu) to June 26, 2026 (Fri) 23:59 - Announcement of Selection Results: Early July 2026 (Tentative) - Number of Selected Startups: Approximately 4

Eligibility Requirements: - Must have a base of operations within Fukuoka Prefecture. - Must be within approximately 10 years of starting the business or aiming for a second startup launch. - Must be aiming for a future exit (IPO or M&A). - Must be in a growth stage (less than Series A or B).

Support Content: - Business plan mentoring - VC introductions and fundraising support - Input seminars - Overseas expansion support - Networking opportunities among participants
