Puma Japan K.K. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) held the PUMA Presents "SHOWTIME" 3DAYS HOOPS launch event on Monday, June 1, 2026.

At the event, Yuya Ando from Puma Japan's Merchandising Division introduced three new basketball shoe models: the "ALL PRO NITRO™ 2 ELITE," "ALL PRO NITRO™ 2," and "ALL PRO NITRO™ SKYBREAK 2," all equipped with Puma's proprietary NITRO™ technology. Shuta Hara of the Chiba Jets and Ryusei Sasaki of the San-en NeoPhoenix also took the stage. Moderated by Jun Soejima, they held a talk session to reflect on the season, share impressions of each other's play, discuss the appeal of the new shoes, and share their future goals.

During the first half, Yuya Ando explained Puma Basketball's commitment to further developing the Japanese basketball scene by utilizing its unique NITRO™ technology to support player performance across different needs.

In the second half, Shuta Hara and Ryusei Sasaki held a talk session. They reflected on the season and discussed each other's play style. Hara praised Sasaki, stating, "He is incredibly fast and has the explosive power to pile up points." Sasaki admired Hara, describing him as "physically strong and like a rock," showing mutual respect as top players in the league.

Regarding the new shoes, Hara commented, "The cushioning of the insole is amazing. It has high cushioning and holds the foot firmly on the outside, which makes me very excited." Sasaki added, "The grip is excellent; I felt I could stop firmly even at high speeds. The fit is so good that I can wear them in games even when they are brand new."

As for future goals, Hara stated his aim to "contribute to Japanese basketball as a member of the national team and continue playing until the age of 40." Sasaki expressed his ambition to "not only excel as a national team member but also to experience winning a championship with my team."
