V-cube, Inc. announced that Kao Corporation has installed 'Telecube' soundproof booths at its Wakayama plant. Due to the plant's vast site and scattered buildings, staff increasingly relied on Web conferencing for internal meetings. This shift, combined with the need for soundproof spaces for confidential discussions such as HR interviews, led to chronic meeting room shortages. Fundamental improvements to the office environment were deemed necessary to support talent acquisition.

With this installation, Kao secured dedicated private spaces for Web conferencing without requiring additional air conditioning or ventilation work. These booths have stabilized the availability of meeting rooms for in-person discussions and are highly valued for their flexibility, allowing for relocation during future building renovations or layout changes.

Key Benefits: 1. Dedicated Private Spaces: Secure environments for HR interviews and remote meetings. 2. Optimized Meeting Room Usage: Shifting individual Web conferencing to booths freed up larger meeting rooms for team discussions. 3. Flexible Asset Management: Unlike fixed structures, these booths can be repurposed during future facility changes.

Kao's representative noted, "Telecube solves air conditioning and ventilation issues just by being placed, which is helpful from a facility management perspective. The ability to relocate was a major factor, especially with large-scale repairs planned."
