[Held as part of Toyama City's Urban Sports Appeal Promotion and Dissemination Project]
Toyama City is holding introductory experience events and tournaments as opportunities for people to easily start urban sports, which have been gaining attention, especially among young people in recent years. JPF has been commissioned by Toyama City to manage this project. This experience event will provide participants aiming to improve their basketball skills with an opportunity to learn individual skills from a professional player and experience 3x3.
[Professional Player to Instruct from Individual Skills to Game Format]
On the day of the event, the program will progress in stages, from basic ball control practice to practical skills for one-on-one play, and finally to a 3x3 game format. 3x3 is gaining attention in youth training as a sport that leads to improved individual skills, as each player has more opportunities to touch the ball and take shots.
First half: Basic training aimed at improving ball handling and dribbling skills, and instruction on practical skills for one-on-one play.
Second half: Experience 3x3 basketball (three-player basketball), which is gaining attention as an official Olympic sport. Participants will develop practical decision-making skills and a wider range of play through game-style matches against opponents they wouldn't normally play against.

[Future Outlook]
We hope that this event will serve as a catalyst for ongoing initiatives to enhance the appeal of Toyama City through urban sports.
We aim to revitalize the region through sports by planning events that attract people from within and outside the prefecture, and by creating environments that utilize local facilities.
