Notice of Exhibition at the Kyushu Construction Development Comprehensive Exhibition 2026

The Japan Quality Assurance Organization (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Hiroaki Ishii) will exhibit at the "Kyushu Construction Development Comprehensive Exhibition 2026" to be held at Marine Messe Fukuoka on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, and Thursday, June 25, 2026.

In recent years, as cities have become increasingly dense and high-rise, ensuring the safety of buildings against disasters such as earthquakes and addressing resilience have become increasingly important.

As a testing laboratory that complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and has the ability to provide technically valid test results, the organization conducts strength tests on pressure-welded joints, steel, concrete, and other construction materials.

In addition to spalling prevention performance irradiation tests (push-out tests) and various tests for pipe rehabilitation materials, the organization has started initiatives for asbestos surveys of structures and building/infrastructure survey work using drones, supporting the development and trust of everyone involved in civil engineering and construction.

The "Kyushu Construction Development Comprehensive Exhibition" is a must-see exhibition for the construction industry aimed at promoting business negotiations and information exchange among stakeholders in urban development and construction sites, including design, ordering, construction, and building work. It also aims to achieve sustainable social capital development, improve productivity in the construction industry, and build a safe and secure regional economy. The organization has been continuously exhibiting since the event's first edition in 2021.

Since its establishment in 1957, the organization has been a fair and neutral third-party conformity assessment body consistently supporting the development of Japan's manufacturing and service industries. It is a certification body boasting the largest cumulative number of audits in Japan for management system certifications such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. It is also a calibration body that supplies national measurement standards to industry, handling the largest number of calibration items and scope of accreditation in Japan in the field of measuring instruments.
