[JR Central] Regarding the Posting of Sub-Station Name Sign Advertisements on the Tokaido Main Line Mikuri Station

Central Japan Railway Company (President: Shunsuke Niwa, hereinafter "JR Central") has been introducing sub-station name sign advertisements since 2024, which post the names of surrounding facilities near the station name signs on the platform to improve convenience for customers using the station and to promote local facilities, companies, and organizations.

JR Central and Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (President: Genbun Shita, hereinafter "Yamaha Motor") are pleased to announce that Yamaha Motor's sub-station name sign advertisement will be posted as "In Front of Yamaha Motor" at Mikuri Station on the Tokaido Main Line, which is the nearest station to Yamaha Motor's headquarters.

1. Posting of Sub-Station Name Sign Advertisement at Mikuri Station

Yamaha Motor's headquarters is located near Mikuri Station, and it is a company that has contributed to industrial development as a locally rooted enterprise. As an initiative to make Yamaha Motor more familiar to the local community who use the railway, the posting of a sub-station name sign advertisement at Mikuri Station on the Tokaido Main Line has been decided.

This will be the first sub-station name sign advertisement posted in Shizuoka Prefecture by JR Central.

Starting July 6, 2026 (Mon), advertisements with the notation "In Front of Yamaha Motor" will be posted below the station name signs on both upper and lower platforms, below the platform pillar station name signs, and above the ticket gates.
