JR Tachikawa Station's "Ecute Tachikawa" Hosts First "My Town's Delicious Feast" Local Food Fair! Featuring Cream Puffs and Tarts with Tachikawa Blueberries, and New Chawanmushi with Tama Area Eggs, Gamecock, and Vegetables.

Ecute Tachikawa, a shopping complex inside JR Tachikawa Station, will host its first "local production for local consumption" fair, titled "My Town's Delicious Feast," from June 1st to July 5th. The event spotlights the Tama area's rich food culture, especially its blueberries—Tokyo is surprisingly Japan's top producer. Exclusive items include a "Blueberry Rare Cheese" dessert and a "Blueberry Cream Puff" using Tachikawa-grown blueberries. The deli selection features a "Tama no Chawanmushi" (savory egg custard) made with Ome-area eggs, gamecock, and local vegetables. A total of 18 special menu items, including 9 exclusives, will be available, offering a taste of the Tama region's freshest seasonal ingredients.
