To realize a sustainable society, Nagoya Takashimaya is hosting 'Think FOR THE FUTURE,' an event featuring products that make sustainable initiatives feel accessible. This event aims to provide an opportunity to realize that the daily necessities and services we use are actually contributing to local communities and the environment. We have curated a rich lineup of brands and products with sustainable backgrounds, ranging from general merchandise to gourmet food. Additionally, we are holding an interactive event where visitors can learn while having fun through a mystery-solving game played while touring the store.

Store decorations and lifestyle goods incorporating Aichi Prefecture's traditional craft 'Arimatsu Shibori' are featured. The 1st-floor main stage combines traditional crafts from the Tokai region with sustainable materials, featuring a collaboration between 'Arimatsu Shibori' (Aichi), 'Mino Washi' (Gifu), and 'tsunagu' (Mie), which recycles waste wood.

Items using Arimatsu Shibori will be available from brands such as 'momiji,' a lifestyle brand by actor Kenichi Matsuyama that upcycles underutilized resources; 'Hayashi Yaokichi,' a hat brand founded in 1895; and 'Mizutori,' which offers modern takes on traditional footwear.

Furthermore, eco-friendly brands will open limited-time shops, including 'Lirplus' with recycled plastic bags, 'Pristine' with organic cotton apparel, and 'Kinto' with bottles made from recycled plastic waste.

In addition, we are conducting collection campaigns for cosmetic containers, shoes, and clothing, and selling gourmet food using 'Chita Cool Salmon,' which utilizes cold energy from Toho Gas. A mystery-solving game will also be held, allowing visitors to learn about sustainable initiatives while exploring the store.
