Nagoya Takashimaya to Host "Start Your Sleep Day" Event Featuring 85 Types of Sleep-Focused Goods for the First Time

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an increase in people reviewing their lifestyles due to changes in work styles and daily rhythms, leading to a growing health consciousness. Amidst this trend, "Nemukatsu" (activities for quality sleep) is gaining attention. According to a survey by major bedding manufacturer Tempur (※), about 90% of those who sleep 7 hours or more on weekdays responded that they sometimes have difficulty waking up refreshed in the morning, highlighting "sleep" as a problem in modern society.

This event brings together mattresses and bedding accessories from 18 brands, totaling 85 different items, which are usually only available for experience at showrooms. In addition to proposing products tailored to individual preferences and concerns, a wide range of items for comfortable sleep even during the upcoming hot summer will be available. Furthermore, workshops for creating relaxing scents will be held daily.
