Popular Summer Vacation Experience Event! Red Cross Free Research "Life-Saving Experience Class" Now Accepting Applications!!

The Japanese Red Cross Society Kanagawa Chapter (70-7 Yamashita-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama) holds an annual summer event where children can experience "water accident prevention," "how to perform CPR and use an AED," "making emergency food for disasters," and "radio communication."

This event provides an opportunity for parents and children to think about disaster preparedness and life, in preparation for water accidents that require caution during this season and the frequent natural disasters occurring nationwide. It is also a perfect event for free research projects.

We are accepting applications with plenty of spots available again this year!

We kindly request media representatives to cooperate with advance announcements, and we also warmly welcome coverage on the day of the event. Media interested in this event are encouraged to contact us.

Celebrating 100 Years of Red Cross Training! Special programs will also be held at the event on July 20th.

This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the Red Cross's training programs.

A special commemorative event for the 100th anniversary of Red Cross training will be held in conjunction with the event on July 20 (Mon, holiday), so please consider covering it.
