[Summer High School Baseball 2026 Kumamoto Tournament] Live Broadcast with Commentary for All Games Again This Year! Terrestrial Broadcasting from the Top 16!!

Kumamoto Asahi Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (President: Keisuke Takeuchi) will live stream all the matches of the 108th National High School Baseball Championship Kumamoto Tournament, which opens on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with live commentary and analysis.

The broadcast will be available on "Virtual High School Baseball," operated by The Asahi Shimbun Company and Asahi Television Broadcasting, and on KAB's special page "Aim for Koshien KAB ONLINE." Furthermore, games from the Top 16 onwards will also be broadcast on terrestrial television.

The draw ceremony, scheduled for Thursday, June 18, will also be live-streamed and broadcast on terrestrial television.

This year again, the poster illustration will be created by first-year students from the Manga Department of Kumamoto Prefectural Takamori High School. This marks the fourth consecutive year that students from Takamori High School's Manga Department have been responsible for the illustration.

I thought that while passionate depictions are good, refreshing illustrations are also nice. I believe pursuing dreams is amazing, so I want everyone working hard in their respective fields to do their best.

This poster will be displayed at the venues for the intense matches, such as Ribwork Fujisaki Dai Stadium and Ken-ei Yatsushiro Baseball Stadium, as well as various locations throughout Kumamoto Prefecture.

In April 2023, Kumamoto Prefectural Takamori High School established a "Manga Department" to specialize in manga studies, the first of its kind in a public high school nationwide. Students receive direct instruction from professional editors and manga artists, and also learn basic sketching skills during art classes.
