[Kanetetsu 100th Anniversary] 'Extraordinary' Project! Attempting a Guinness World Record™ with 'Hobo-Kani®' on June 20

Kanetetsu Delica Foods Inc. will hold a Guinness World Record™ challenge event on June 20, 2026, at 'Kobe Fashion Plaza' on Rokko Island, Kobe, where the company is headquartered, to commemorate its 100th anniversary. On the day, they will arrange 3,000 packages of their signature crab-flavored kamaboko, 'Hobo-Kani®,' to create the number '100' symbolizing the 100th anniversary, aiming to achieve the record for the 'Largest packaged food number.' Furthermore, after the challenge, the 'Hobo-Kani®' used will be distributed for free to visitors. Marking its 100th anniversary, Kanetetsu has established the slogan 'To-Tetsu-Mo-Nai-Ze' (Extraordinary) and continues to pursue new culinary enjoyment.
