Hotel Kawakyu in Nanki-Shirahama Onsen Launches Joint Project with JOPT – Introducing a New Form of Play from 'Where Aesthetics Meets Challenge'

(Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Tsubasa Kamei; hereinafter "JOPT"), organizer of Japan's largest poker tournament series "JOPT," announce the launch of a joint project.

As the first initiative of this project, a sponsored event titled "NLH Good Game 1000 Sponsored by Hotel Kawakyu" will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, during JOPT 2026 Tokyo #02. The winner will receive a "Premium Pair Accommodation Voucher" for a special stay at Hotel Kawakyu.

1. About the Joint Project

A joint project will launch to establish a new entertainment space within Hotel Kawakyu, supervised by JOPT. By combining Hotel Kawakyu’s one-of-a-kind setting—adorned with global architectural techniques and artworks, and featuring a ceiling with gold leaf certified by the Guinness World Records™—with JOPT’s expertise in event planning and operations, the collaboration aims to deliver a new kind of stay experience beyond mere accommodation, originating from Nanki-Shirahama. Details of the facility and its opening date will be announced in due course.
