An introductory guide to "eating habits" by Michimichi Yoshida, a leading expert in the "Kin-chan Farming" method!

Author: Michimichi Yoshida

"Kin-chan Farming" is gaining attention as a farming method that emphasizes the activity of soil microorganisms, achieving harvests without pesticides or fertilizers and attracting very few pests. Michimichi Yoshida, the proponent of this method and representative of "Kin-chan Farm Co., Ltd.," is visited by many celebrities and influencers engaged in organic vegetable cultivation, generating buzz in various circles.

The new book, "Say Goodbye to 'Feeling Sluggish'! An Introduction to Eating Habits with Dr. Kin-chan," is a book that gently explains how to build a healthy body and improve gut health through farming, based on the commonalities between "the mechanism for growing healthy vegetables" and "the mechanism for people to become healthy," as discovered by Yoshida. It also explains the cycle of life learned from microorganisms.

Yoshida's know-how and valuable experiences are fully incorporated into this book. He was involved in reforming elementary school lunches, using naturally derived broths, cooking vegetables with their skins on, and actively incorporating fermented foods, which led to an increase in students' immunity (average body temperature rose) and a reduction in absences due to illness by a factor of 12.

This groundbreaking "eating habits" guide introduces dietary habits that can be practiced starting today to resolve the issues faced by many modern people, from children to adults, such as "feeling easily tired," "inability to wake up in the morning," "lack of concentration," "irritability," and "ailments like acne, skin problems, and constipation." It encourages readers to "try it for just one month first."

Just as making the soil in the fields healthy led to the growth of vibrant vegetables without pesticides, I have witnessed surprising results myself as efforts to make the human gut healthy have naturally improved various ailments. [...]

What is necessary to pursue dreams and goals is health. Being able to achieve what you want is only possible with a healthy body and mind.

Understand how much your daily meals affect your health, and try practicing the healthy eating habits presented in this book.

-- Michimichi Yoshida

(From the book's "Foreword")

Vibrant vegetables are connected to "Kin-chan"!

From pages 32-33 of the book

The napa cabbage and komatsuna grown at Yoshida's "Kin-chan Farm" are huge, about the size of an adult's upper body, even though no fertilizer was used. This is the power of Kin-chan (microorganisms).

Choose healthy vegetables!

From pages 78-79 of the book

Healthy organic and seasonal vegetables are not only rich in flavor and delicious but also contain more vitamins and minerals, making us healthy. Summer vegetables are also very effective in preventing heatstroke.

Rich in column pages!

From pages 194-195 of the book

The "COLUMN" pages in each chapter offer substantial content, including recipes for enjoying ingredients deliciously without losing nutrients, and easy ways to grow Kin-chan vegetables. Please try them along with the main "eating habits" content.

Insects and microorganisms are essential for the cycle of life!

From page 39 of the book

Just as our hearts act as pumps that send blood carrying oxygen and nutrients throughout the body via arteries, insects and microorganisms play the role of pumps for the continuous cycle of life on this Earth.
