Kawaijuku Cosmo (Shinjuku, Tokyo), which aims to help students who have experienced truancy or high school dropout enter university, will hold an open lecture on June 20. The event, held both in-person and online via Teams, focuses on restarting exam preparation from the summer. The lecture will feature a roundtable discussion by Cosmo fellows, who serve as advisors for students and parents. The 8 current fellows have an average of 18 years of experience in guiding students. They will share cases often seen before summer and discuss physical and mental conditioning for a fresh start, as well as career exploration. This free event targets junior and senior high school students, graduates, parents, educators, and media. Registration is required via the website by June 19. Kawaijuku Cosmo, established in 1988, is a prep school supporting youths from 15 to their 20s who chose not to attend traditional high schools, helping them through high school equivalency exams or correspondence schools.
