[Kawasaki Brave Thunders] Announcement of Player Contract Agreement with Shun Matsuyama for the 2026-27 Season

We are pleased to announce that we have signed a player contract with Shun Matsuyama for the 2026-27 season.

Matsuyama played as a key player for Koshigaya Alphas for five seasons from the 2021-22 season, greatly contributing to the club's promotion to B1. In the most recent 2025-26 season, he recorded a career-high average of 13.8 points and an extremely high 3-point shooting percentage of 44.0%, ranking first among Japanese players.

With his accurate outside shooting and offensive drive, he is a player who can create scoring opportunities for himself and others. As a point guard, he can also handle game-making duties, and we believe he will bring new options and depth to the team on both offense and defense.
