Kawasaki Motors Japan has announced the upcoming release of the flagship KX327X, a new generation 2-stroke cross-country racer, scheduled for winter 2026. Developed to conquer cross-country and enduro terrains, it combines the high-performance chassis of the KX450 motocrosser with a newly developed fuel-injected 327cc water-cooled 2-stroke single-cylinder engine. This provides an excellent balance of handling and off-road capability. The new engine offers flat torque optimized for cross-country, providing powerful output from low to mid-range rpm. The simple 2-stroke structure and mixed fuel system achieve a lightweight body comparable to the 4-stroke 250cc class. The aluminum perimeter frame and high-performance suspension ensure excellent ground contact and straight-line stability. Key features include fuel injection (a first for Kawasaki 2-strokes), an electric starter, two power modes, and compatibility with the smartphone app RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX2. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is 1,089,000 yen (tax included), and it comes in Lime Green.
