30-Day Summer Event at the Foot of Kyoto’s Landmark Tower: TOWERLAND Presents a ‘Multi-Entertainment Station’ This Summer with Diverse Content for All Generations

Keihan Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; President and CEO: Yukiou Yamada) will host the event titled 'TOWERLAND 30-Day Daily Fun Event Declaration ~From Kids to Adults! A Summer Break for All Generations~' at TOWERLAND –ROOFTOP BAR & BBQ–, located on the 10th-floor rooftop of Kyoto Tower Building, from Friday, July 17, 2026, to Saturday, August 15, 2026. From guest DJ music events and family-friendly disco × double dutch festivals to rooftop events exclusively for current high school students and daily taco festivals, TOWERLAND will deliver diverse content across generations and genres from its rooftop bar & BBQ with a direct view of the Nidec Kyoto Tower.

Since its opening in April 2025, TOWERLAND has launched a variety of initiatives combining food, music, and entertainment. Leveraging its prime rooftop location in front of Kyoto Station, it has focused on creating an inclusive space for all ages through events like Golden Week family discos, DJ events, and seasonal BBQ menus.

This summer marks TOWERLAND’s second year, and we are stepping forward with a diverse lineup of content that transcends generations. 'For fun and delicious experiences, come to TOWERLAND first.' This summer, right beneath Kyoto Station’s landmark, the Nidec Kyoto Tower, we present to you a new summer staple for Kyoto—a 'Multi-Entertainment Station.'

July 18 (Sat) | FAMILY DISCO meets LOVE90's × Double Dutch Festival

The popular 'FAMILY DISCO meets LOVE90's' event from Golden Week returns this summer. Centered on well-known new and classic J-POP melodies, it offers nostalgic music experiences for adults and fresh excitement for children.

This time, Kyoto-based professional double dutch team 'NEWTRAD' joins as a special guest. This top-tier team, featuring world champions and performers from Cirque du Soleil, will appear in a special all-female lineup of four members, including mom participants, delivering an impressive performance to energize the venue. For children, we offer a 'Double Dutch Experience Session,' a 'Wakuwaku! Kids DJ Experience' where kids can touch turntables (first-come, first-served, 15 groups), and 'KIDS DISCO TIME,' a dance session with music that both kids and adults can enjoy together. It’s a day to dance, experience, and create summer memories for the whole family.

On July 30 (Thu), we prepare a special moment exclusively for current high school students. 'Ao-Haru Rooftop 2026' is a rooftop event for high school students held on the rooftop of Kyoto Tower Building. Featuring the latest J-POP and trending music, it offers an experience that will become a page in this summer’s youth memories. Joining midway after club activities or summer classes is welcome. Bring your student ID and spend an unforgettable youthful moment on the rooftop of Kyoto Tower Building this summer.

As the main daily attraction, we present 'TACOS de Cheers.' The highlight is the authentic 'Tacos de Carnitas,' supervised by the 'Ichiya Group,' one of the most popular items on the a la carte menu. Slow-cooked for hours to achieve tender perfection, the house-made carnitas are paired with a special fresh tomato salsa and refreshing cilantro. Additionally, during the event period, summer-exclusive hearty dishes such as 'charcoal-grilled tandoori chicken' and 'charcoal-roasted wagyu thigh roast beef with mustard' will be available, creating a lineup perfectly suited to stimulate summer appetites.
