Exclusive Kyoto Store Item Featuring Illustrations by Artist umao: 'umao Tote (with Acrylic Charm)' Launches July 17

Ken Elephant Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenzo Ishiyama), an art goods manufacturer, announces the launch of the 'umao Tote (with Acrylic Charm)' at its capsule toy specialty store, KENELE STAND (hereinafter 'Kenele Stand'), starting Friday, July 17, 2026. This exclusive item, available only at the ASTY Kyoto Hachijo East Exit store, features illustrations by renowned illustrator umao.

Ken Elephant and illustrator umao have previously collaborated on various projects, including capsule toys, picture book publications, and pop-up events.

This time, in recognition of umao’s graduation from Kyoto Seika University, Kenele Stand will release nine exclusive tote bag designs featuring umao’s artwork at the ASTY Kyoto Hachijo East Exit store.

Each tote bag comes with an acrylic charm based on the original illustration. The designs incorporate Kyoto-themed motifs, making them ideal as souvenirs or travel mementos.

Moving forward, the company will continue to collaborate with artists and release store-exclusive items, offering customers new discoveries and experiences with every visit to the world of capsule toys.
