A Day to See, Eat, and Enjoy: Kenmin Foods to Hold 'Delicious' Spring Appreciation Event at Sasayama Factory, Opening the Factory, Which Has Walked with the Community for Over 40 Years, to the Public for the First Time - 'Healthy Kenmin Spring Festival' on Saturday, April 18

Kenmin Foods Co., Ltd., which holds the No. 1 share*1 in the rice vermicelli (bifun) market, will hold a community-open event, the 'Healthy Kenmin Spring Festival,' on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at its Sasayama factory (nickname: Be-Fun Factory SASAYAMA) in Tamba-Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture.

This event was planned with the hope that everyone in the local community, including Tamba-Sasayama City, would visit our factory at least once. This is our first attempt to open the factory to the general public, allowing anyone who comes on the day to tour the factory, which is usually by reservation only. Timed with the spring excursion season, this 'Spring Appreciation Event' is held to express our daily gratitude to the local community from the factory that has been operating in Tamba-Sasayama City for over 40 years.

The factory tour, usually available by reservation only, will be open to the public without reservation on the day of the event.

You can see the newly operational third production line from the observation walkway and witness firsthand 'how the bifun you always eat is made.'

Fried bifun and gluten-free ramen will be available at a one-coin food corner.

【Enjoy】Activities for the whole family

We will hold participatory events that everyone from children to adults can enjoy together, such as quiz contests and bingo tournaments.

The content is designed for you to spend a relaxing spring day with family and friends.
