Kenmin Foods, the top sharing brand in the rice noodle market (43.6% share in 2025), is opening its popular Kobe Nanjingmachi shop 'YUNYUN' in Tokyo for the first time. YUNYUN will participate in the 5th 'Flour Expo' (Konabaku) held on the 8th floor of Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro from June 17 (Wed) to June 22 (Mon), 2026. The shop will offer live cooking of its signature 'Kenmin-style Fried Rice Noodles' (750 yen including tax), made with thin rice noodles, pork belly, and five vegetables cooked with rice soy sauce. It will also serve the event-exclusive 'Spicy Fried Rice Noodles' (900 yen including tax), featuring a blend of chili peppers and nuts. The booth will also hold a retail exhibition showcasing Kenmin Foods' signature products, such as the long-selling 'Kenmin Yakibeefun' and gluten-free 'Rice Pasta'. Established in 1985 as Kenmin Foods' antenna shop, YUNYUN is known for its fried rice noodles and handmade grilled xiaolongbao (producing 6,000 daily), drawing up to 1-hour wait lines during peak times.
