Daito Kentaku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kei Takeuchi) will introduce a "Digital Wage Payment System" for all employees, allowing them to choose payment via the cashless payment service "PayPay" starting with the June 2026 payroll (May salary).
In recent years, digital payment usage in daily life has rapidly increased, creating a demand for options in salary payment methods that align with individual values and lifestyles. A survey on the needs for digital wage payments conducted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare among 10,000 companies indicated that the introduction of digital salary payments is beginning to be considered as a condition when job seekers choose a company, highlighting the growing importance of advanced employment environments for talent acquisition and engagement.
Despite these rising societal expectations, the current reality is that fewer than 1% of companies in Japan have introduced digital wage payments, remaining a minority. Therefore, Daito Kentaku aims to be a pioneer in the industry by implementing this system and fostering advanced HR infrastructure that supports diverse working styles.
This initiative will enable employees to select "PayPay," a cashless payment service with the largest share in QR code payments in Japan, as their salary recipient. By directly linking with this widely adopted service for daily transactions, employees will be able to make daily purchases and payments seamlessly, eliminating the need to manually charge their bank accounts and significantly improving their convenience.
As a company committed to supporting the lives of its employees, Daito Kentaku will continue to strive for HR systems that cater to the diverse lifestyles and values of each individual, thereby promoting organizational vitality and sustainable growth.
