Kiei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yodai Sakuma; hereinafter 'the Company') signed an expansion agreement on May 27, 2026, with Arita Town, Nishimatsuura District, Saga Prefecture (Mayor: Yoshie Washio). Going forward, the Company will proceed with the development of a new base in Arita Town centered on the cultivation of AI human resources.

Background of the Expansion

The utilization of AI is no longer limited to a few advanced companies; it is becoming a prerequisite for companies to maintain competitiveness. On the other hand, small and medium-sized enterprises that support local economies are still significantly lagging in their efforts.

Furthermore, many regional cities are experiencing population decline, with a continuing trend of young people capable of handling advanced fields moving to urban areas. To support local industries over the medium to long term, it is necessary to create a cycle from the industry side: nurturing talent locally, employing them locally, and returning the results to the local community.

The Company positions this expansion into Arita Town as a starting point for realizing this cycle together with the region, and will work on it as a 'Regional Circular AI Human Resource Model'.
