Kikkoman Soyfoods Co., Ltd. will launch nationwide on September 14 a new soy milk beverage for children, 'Kinema Kids Banana.' Featuring popular Pokémon characters Pikachu, Eevee, Bulbasaur, and Meowth on the packaging, the product makes soy milk enjoyable and delicious for kids.

Four Different Packaging Designs

'Kinema Kids Banana' is a soy milk drink that provides an easy way for children to consume 'protein,' an essential nutrient for growth. With a banana flavor popular among children, the packaging features beloved Pokémon characters: Pikachu, Eevee, Bulbasaur, and Meowth. There are four different packaging designs in total. The back of each package includes a children's quiz, encouraging kids to pick it up themselves. At a convenient 160ml size, it's perfect for a child's first experience with soy milk.

Features of the 'Kinema Kids' Series

① Easily obtain essential nutrients for children's growth!

According to our survey (*1), many parenting-generation caregivers want to give their children 'nutrient-rich foods' and 'ensure sufficient protein intake for body development.'

Each bottle (160ml) of Kinema Kids contains more than 5g of protein and over 200mg of calcium (equivalent to milk (*2)).

② Mild sweetness for easy drinking!

Sweetened with sugar and fructooligosaccharide, it offers a gentle sweetness that children enjoy.

③ Popular Pokémon character designs!

To spark children's desire to drink, we adopted packaging featuring popular Pokémon characters: Pikachu, Eevee, Bulbasaur, and Meowth. Both the 'Kinema Kids Mildly Sweet Milk Flavor' launched in March and the new 'Kinema Kids Banana' come in four different designs each, making them appealing for children to choose on their own.

Through the 'Kinema Kids' series, we aim to create fun and tasty opportunities for children to enjoy soy milk from an early age, supporting their healthy growth.

Kikkoman will continue to propose various flavors, drinking methods, and culinary uses to make soy milk—rich in soy nutrition—something people can enjoy daily.
