KLD Starts Vintage Project Initiative with Barneys Japan

KLD Co., Ltd. (Itoshima, Fukuoka; Representative Director Kenta Ito) has announced its participation in a new vintage project launched by Barneys Japan Co., Ltd. on the 3rd floor of the Kojun Building in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. KLD will provide and help edit designer archive pieces that embody the era and brand philosophy, including COMME des GARÇONS and Maison Martin Margiela. Since its founding, KLD has aimed to connect fashion with background and context to the next generation, rather than just acting as a standard secondhand distributor. For this project, Barneys Japan will offer luxury vintage items, bags, jewelry, and accessories from the 1960s to the 2000s. KLD will supply archives from brands like COMME des GARÇONS, Maison Martin Margiela, HERMÈS, and JIL SANDER. By combining expertise in fashion archives with data and technology, KLD aims to build a new circular market in fashion.
